Dr. Harris Mones is a Board Certified Osteopathic Physician with more than 20 years experience in General Practice and Family Practice treating pediatric and adult patients in Miami, FL. He is fully licensed in the State of Florida as a Physician and Surgeon and is Board Certified in both Family Practice and Geriatrics. He is actively involved in medical education serving as Director of Medical Education at Westchester General Hospital. He maintains hospital privileges at Doctors Hospital of Coral Gables as well. He also holds an associate professorship position at Nova Southeastern Medical School in Ft. Lauderdale FL and at the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa.We are proud to announce that Cynthia Siksnius, a Physician Assistant, has joined our practice. Cynthia brings superb qualifications to our office as well as a personality and practice philosophy consistent with ours. She is devoted to our V.I.P. practice philosophy. Her association with us will allow us to offer even better access to care and has allowed us to expand office hours.

Most patients are seen in less than one hour. Same-day appointments are available for new and established patients. Our office maintains early morning, evening and weekend hours for our patient's convenience. All of Doctor Mones' patients have access to his personal cell phone and are encouraged to call when urgent, non life threatening medical concerns arise. He believes in an open door policy and patients are welcome to walk in without a scheduled appointment when urgent health care matters occur. This all adds up to our V.I.P. patient care.
Dr. Mones practices a "whole person", wholistic approach to medicine. Instead of treating a single disease or body part, Doctor Mones will view your body as an integrated whole understanding the important relationship amongst all your body parts both psychological and physical. You will notice an emphasis on preventive health care and be questioned extensively about all your health maintenance, not just about what concerns you today. Dr. Mones has received extra training in the musculoskeletal system and in Osteopathic Manipulation. These skills allow him to use his hands to not only diagnose your illness but to make adjustments to your body to encourage and assist your bodies own natural defenses. By combining this wholistic approach to your health along with all available medical treatments Dr. Mones offers the most comprehensive care possible.
Cynthia is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University. Prior to completing her Bachelor of Physician Assistant studies and Master of Medical Sciences, she received her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida. She spent three years practicing Occupational Therapy in the Tampa Bay area prior to returning to school to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. As an Occupational Therapist, Cynthia worked extensively with upper extremity injuries and neurological disorders and assisted patients with rehabilitation of fractures and total joint replacements.
Cynthia spent 3 months of her Physician Assistant training under the supervision of Dr. Mones and is already well known to many of his patients. Our office staff as well as those patients that have been cared for by Cynthia are thrilled she has decided to stay on and join our practice.
